Soft Guards / Soakers
Before storing your figure skates in your locker or sports bag after use on the ice, it is essential to wipe the blades dry with a small towel. The blades should then be covered with absorbent soft guards to protect them from moisture and damage.
The soakers are not suitable for protecting the blades when walking away from the ice rink – solid plastic skate guards are required in this case!
